Portraits That Honour the Animals You Love

From loyal dogs to curious cats and every quirky personality in between I photograph pets with the same care and intention I give to people. These studio portraits are calm, quiet, and focused entirely on your companion. No distractions. Just a timeless image that captures who they are.

Whether you’ve had your pet for a year or a lifetime, this is about honouring the bond you share.

Pet portraits often become more than you expect. They’re not just for now. They’re something to look back on later long after the moments have passed.

I’ve photographed everything from nervous rescue dogs to senior pets nearing the end of their journey. Some clients book to celebrate a birthday. Some come in knowing it may be the last portrait they have. Whatever the reason, the goal is always the same: to capture the truth of your pet in a calm, beautiful, and respectful way.

The studio setup is simple and pet-friendly. I photograph against neutral backdrops using soft, controlled lighting so your pet stays at ease. If they’re excitable or anxious, that’s okay. We’ll work with them. There’s no pressure and no rush.

These sessions are about connection. If you want to be in the portrait with your pet, you’re welcome to. If not, that’s fine too. Either way, we’ll create something you’ll want to keep for years to come.

You can learn more about the experience on the Pet Portraits service page, or book your session here.
